Freddie is a New York-based standup comedian and writer. They are also the founder of Facebook.

Freddie is on the editorial team at Reductress — where they’ve written over 400 satirical articles — and have also written for The Harvard Lampoon, Peanut Kid (a comedy zine they co-founded), Points in Case, and others. In 2022, Freddie was one of seven comics selected for the Warner Bros. Discovery Comedic Voices Program; their pilot was also selected for a 2023 Virtual Sundance Fellowship. In print, they recently wrote for the Reductress book, How to Stay Productive When the World Is Ending, named one of Vulture’s Best Comedy Books of 2023 (So Far). More importantly, an image of them making a big thumbs up was used next to the one-liner, “Why I Made My Hobby My Job and My Job My Wife and My Wife My Hobby.”

As a stand-up comic, Freddie has performed all over the world — from Singapore to London, Boston, and New York. They've opened for comedians like Mary Beth Barone and Ronny Chieng, regularly perform at venues like The Bell House, Club Cumming, and Union Hall, and have been featured in national and international festivals, including the New York Comedy Festival in 2021, 2022, and 2023. They co-host “The Simps 2” at Union Hall and “America’s Next Top Bottoms” at Club Cumming.

None of these moments, however, compare to Freddie’s proudest: founding Facebook.
